Persian cat grooming esentials
You will use your combs the most and these are my recommendations. I really like a wide tooth comb where half of the comb is spaced wider than the other half. Then I have my quarter comb. I call it this because ¼ of the comb is finer spaced and ¾ is wide. I also use a finer tooth comb for her face and around her paws.
A pin brush is magical for picking up the coat. Do not buy one with little plastic ends on the tips. The little ends will “pull up” the coat and you want to gently lift the hair. Don’t skimp with cheap products. Get the ones that will last. You will appreciate it later.
Persian faces can get stained if you don’t pay particular attention to them. The key here is to clean their faces frequently before the stain sets. I have used many brands but my preference is a product called Anna Designer Pet Tear Stain Trio. It works wonderfully and its a natural product. Try this and you will be very happy!

Also will need
Don’t forget you will need a good set of nail clippers.
A small pair of scissors with blunt ends
A pair of thinning shears to complete her out of the parlor look.
Get a medium or large sized plastic tool box or tackle box to keep all your supplies. You will gradually add more items “you will need” as you compete in more shows. It will make your life much easier by organizing it all in one place.
